Floor Tiling on Sandstone and Sloping Blocks

We set out floors across those changes, check levels across each plane, and re-screed where needed so large format tiles sit flat rather than following an out-of-true floor.

Toward the Georges River and Port Hacking, foreshore blocks bring reactive clay on water frontage and outdoor areas exposed to the water.
On these we prepare for the clay movement with crack isolation where needed, and on terraces and balconies we lay an external membrane to AS 4654, set correct falls to drainage, and use grouts and adhesives suited to the exposure so water runs away from the building.

Bathroom, Kitchen and Repair Work

Bathrooms across Sylvania and the nearby suburbs range from original wet areas in older homes through to renovations, and in every case we confirm the substrate, build the falls and lay a continuous membrane to AS 3740 before tiling.

For repairs, cracked or drummy tiles, failing grout and leaking showers can often be sorted without redoing a whole room, and we match replacement tiles as closely as the originals allow.
