At Leerberg Tiling we carry out all aspects of waterproofing for bathrooms, showers, balconies, laundries and wet areas across Sydney. The team have over fifty years of combined experience in tiling and waterproofing and all work is completed to Australian Standards with certificates provided.
We handle waterproofing for residential and commercial properties including new builds, renovations and remedial work where existing waterproofing has failed. Most of our waterproofing is done alongside bathroom tiling and bathroom renovations. As such we handle the full job from preparation through to tiling which means one contractor for the whole project. This is how waterproofing should be done.

We apply waterproofing membranes to floors and walls in wet areas with proper falls to floor wastes. Bond breakers go in at junctions and all penetrations are sealed. Once the membrane has cured we provide a waterproofing certificate before any tiles go down. This is required for compliance and we include it on every job.
Balcony leaks are one of the more common callouts we get. Usually its because the original waterproofing wasnt done properly or its failed over time. We strip it back and do it correctly with the right membrane and drainage falls.
The team at Leerberg Tiling have fixed alot of balconies that were leaking into the rooms below. Once water gets into the structure it causes damage that only gets worse. Better to fix it properly than keep patching it.

Can you fix a leaking shower without removing tiles?
Sometimes yes depending on where the leak is. We will take a look and give you an honest answer.
Do you do waterproofing only or tiling as well?
We do both. Most of our waterproofing is done as part of a tiling or renovation job.
How long does waterproofing take to cure?
Usually 24 to 48 hours before tiling can start. Depends on the product and conditions.
